Washing filters TIM are designed to purify drinking and utility water from mechanical impurities. They protect the pipeline and the fittings and equipment installed on it from impurities that are insoluble in water: sand, shavings, tow, rust, etc. The filter is installed in front of water meters, control valves, flow meters, pumps with a "wet" rotor of an electric motor and other devices with increased requirements for the purity of the water passing through them. The filter is not designed to protect against water-soluble substances, solvents, fats, oils and other lubricants.
