Open the tape bag and pour water into it, let the tape get wet for 1 minute. Squeeze the bag several times to better soak the tape with water.
Remove the tape from the bag and wrap it around the repaired section of the pipe or muffler, starting 5 cm from the edge of the repaired area. Wind 8-10 layers of tape.
Use the entire tape as it cannot be stored after the package has been opened.
Flatten the wound tape, while it should stretch as much as possible and press against the repaired surface.
When the tape begins to foam and bubble, continue to flatten the tape by pressing it down in a circular motion.
The final stage in the formation of the ceramic jacket occurs when the tape becomes tacky.
At a temperature of +25 °C curing occurs in 30-40 minutes. At low temperatures, curing slows down, but does not exceed 24 hours.
