i recently purchased a softshell jacket for my outdoor activities. According to my experience this jacket does a fantastic job of blocking out the wind and rain, while still being breathable. it is lightweight and easy to pack. The multiple pockets are an added bonus for storing my phone, wallet, and snacks while hiking .However, the sizing may be slightly off as it seemed a bit snug under the arms.
