I purchased this heating pad to help with pain relief, for my chronic pain, and for pain in my back. I've purchased many heating pads in the past, at least two each year, prior to this one. I love it! It covers my whole back, from my shoulders down to my waist. It is so helpful if you use heat for pain relief. I also use it on other parts of my body besides my back. It's also a great length for your legs, like from your hips to your knees, and knees to your ankles. It will be longer on those areas for shorter people, or people with shorter limbs. This heating pad is really soft and machine washes very easily. I've had mine almost 2 years now, I believe, and it works just as well as the day I took it out of the box. Also, it has heat settings that go up to number 6, and I find that having it on 3 is toasty enough for me, LOL! Even I will turn it down to 2 at times, when I don't need that much heat. And it has an automatic shut off after 2 hours. Overall, great purchase!
