The photos in this listing show a crown with a distinctly flat table and typical cushion cut facets surrounding the table. The stone I received has a cushion cut girdle, but with a domed crown and checkerboard styled facets on the crown. The overall shape of the stone is a cushion cut, but the face of the stone is simply not acceptable for the piece I was intending to set it into.The pavilion of the stone I received appears true to the photos.I am giving it 2 stars because the overall quality and clarity is very good. Just beware that the stone you receive will likely not be like the one which appears in the photographs. I am undecided whether or not I will return it, as it is probably too much trouble. I might use it in another piece, maybe a pendant. but definitely not in the ring I was intending to set it into. Now I have to find another stone elsewhere. I might return it if I don't find a use for it soon.
