I was happy to find a case that hand the built in hard plastic protector. My husband works in construction and he always had an otterbox, but they don't make a case with the built in screen protector ofr the new phone. This case fits his new phone well, was easy to install, and covers the entire phone. The backing is not rubberzied, but is more of a hard plastic type material, feels and looks durable, and will help to keep the phone protected from dust tand drops.
