I really liked a similar type shell I had for my old MacBook Air from another brand, it lasted me 9 years! I was hoping this would be as good and worried it would be a cheap wannabe. Luckily, this ended up being as good or better. It adds even less bulk than the other brand and seems to add just about no weight. On top of that, it has a great feel, not too slippery, not too grabby. The color looks great with my Space Gray MacBook Pro. And there's just enough transparency to still see the Apple logo on the lid. Let's face it, we want people to see it's a Mac.It's new so I can't say how long it will stand up, though. It feels like quality and I suspect it will last the test of time. It's worth the risk of buying online, and the price is good enough that the risk factor is pretty low.
