Got 2 uses out of this before I started having issues. I use this on my boat as a headlight when running at night. I have a 24v bow mount so I use 24v to run this light. When using 24v the up and down controls are uncontrollable. The light moves so fast and a tap of the button it probably rotates 70 or 80 degrees up and down. 12v it is more controllable. Side to side is manageable on 24v but the gearing is cheap and worthless which is why this gets a 1 star. Side to side no longer works at certain spots which makes having a remote light worthless. I am sure I am beyond manufacturer warranty but I got extended warranty and will be using it. Don't buy
