I came back to add a star - I am enjoying this jeans more than I thought I would and they turned out to be more comfortable too than I first thought they’d be!—-The best part of these skinny jeans is the wide waist and the distressed detail at the leg hems.I don't often find wide waisted jeans in high-waisted skinny design--more often the waist is skinny too and sometimes with high-waisted jeans that means uncomfortable pinching in at the waist. These have the three buttons, which I really love, and the wider waist makes them fit more comfortably. I do like the notch in the back as a little added detail.The other plus is the distressed look at the leg hems. Just a cute detail. Since the rest of the jean is not distressed, it makes the leg hems 'pop' and just looks cute as the distressing isn't overdone.As for fit: I am 5'2" about 117 and very fit. I normally wear a size 4 very comfortably and in some styles can wear a 2 (but not as often). They fit me but at the waist I felt they were going to be too tight, and I have a small waist, but once I had them on, they felt fine.And no gapping at the back!They do hug my body. But they are flattering on.I rather like them for those occasions when I want to wear something snug and fitted--a date or maybe out to coffee.
