This is about the same price as with my local beauty supply store so while I cannot say it's a huge deal it is very convenient in that I can get the same amount of hair without having to leave my house. I didnt do the initial install myself but my aunt who has been braiding my hair for years said that it's soft and easy to work with. I did notice that my hair got messy faster with this hair (I had to reduce it in 2 and a half weeks due to frizz when normally it lasts about three months. I took that as an opportune though and experimented with rewbraiding my hair. I ended up reducing the amount of hair on my head from 6 out of the 8 packs to about 2. (I'm not entirely certain bc I couldnt put the hair back into the pack but I know I took out a little over half of the hair) as someone who barely knew how to braid my hair when i redid my braids I have to agree that the hair was soft and easy to use. It's also very light. I could feel it when it was 6 packs in my hair but barely; now that it's only a little over 2 packs I can't even feel the hair at all (even when wet). I can also say that when redoing my braids I found that the braiding hair remolded very easily (not really keeping the dents from the initial braided pattern) I have tried rebraiding my hair several times beforehand and that was the biggest issue with reusing braiding hair for me. If it doesn't remold easily than the new braid looks larger and less neat than the original braid. With these I found that reusing the hair was a breeze as the hair itself remolded easily, and it separated easily when I was thinning out the braiding hair. I forsee myself washing and reusing this braiding hair quite a bit while I'm in school.
