I was hesitant to purchase it because of the 54lbs it weights since 8 live on a 2 floor walk in up but I decided to try it and if was too difficult I was going to return it. A month later I have decided to keep it. It is such a smooth ride and the bike lock feature is a huge plus. I will have muscles by the fall, I guess it's a double plus. I love it! And wouldn't trade it for the world.Update 6 months after purchase I'm still in love with it, I have tried it in light snow and it did great! I've used for a total of 217 miles so far and haven't fallen once. With my previous one from swagtron I fell multiple time even broke my elbow in 6 months out of the year I had it. Gotrax is a keeper, the 54lbs don't even bother me anymore.
