I have never used this type of product but where we live the water is really hard and my hair and scalp are a mess. Several people have recommended scalp brush so I figured I'd give it a try. The price was right and I liked the colors on this one so it seemed like a good place to start. It has definitely helped my hair just from the first few uses, I notice my scalp isn't nearly as dry and flakey and my hair feels so much softer. I gave the other one to my 8 year old daughter who sometimes has a hard time getting her hair washed thoroughly on her own, and she it a big fan as well! I wish I had bought these sooner just to get her self sufficient in washing her own hair! The only thing I don't like is the hand hold. It's just a little small for my hand, it still works, but not as comfortable for me as I would like. The ergonomics are great for my daughter though!
