I bought these as an addition to my wetsuit. I use primarily for SUP but have also worn them walking trails around the lakes afterward. I've walked across some rocks and a lot of uneven terrain in them and they are still holding up, no holes. However they are very thin and do not provide for much sole protection on dry land.Great fit but a little water does get inside at the ankle when submerged. While in cold water, my feet do not stay as warm as the rest of my body when wearing my 3mm wetsuit so these are a bit thinner. Still a great product though and now that I have them I wouldn't want to go without them.A men's Extra Small fits a women's size 7 perfectly. The Extra Small would probably fit to a maximum size of women's 8, or men's size 6, if you're wondering.
