Must be mounted to a solid structure. Not Sheetrock.

Liked the product. But. the mounting holes are 16” apart. If you are hanging a door the holes need to line up with your studs. The kit does provide Sheetrock anchors that are far from Adequate. I made a 30” by 60” door out of Cedar fence boards to cover a heater unit the door weighed about 30 lbs. the holes only lined up with 2 studs so I used the remaining Sheetrock anchor bolts. The anchor bolts did not support the weight of the door and stared pulling out. To fix this problem I purchased a 1/4” x 2” Aluminum flat bar and drilled and tapped 3/8” holes and screw the plate to the studs with wood screws and the mounting bracket to the plate and it worked perfect.
