It fit perfectly on my mountain bike's new handlebars. I've read a few reviews about fitment but found it to slide in without any issues. I did keep in mind the wedged design and pushed on the bolt rather than the end cap. ID is about 18.40mm (0.7245&#34;) which can be compressed a bit more. I got the plastic down to 0.65&#34;. If you go by the product description it may be a tight fit going down to 0.62&#34;.
