Purchased the item the day before for $640. Immediately after making the purchase, I attempted to use it on myself. It slices quite well. There were no issues or inconvenient circumstances that I encountered. I decided to buy this product after reading a number of positive reviews on Amazon, and those reviews did not let me down. Because the components are plastic, disassembly and cleaning must be done with extreme caution; yet, the components themselves are indestructible. The cable did not appear to be too long, and because it is securely attached to the machine, it does not detach itself. Even in the hands of someone who is completely unskilled at using it, the machine cuts rapidly and uniformly. It has a low decibel level and does not frighten both youngsters and animals. In general, if you just want to get a haircut without big expenses (in a hairdresser's, such a haircut will cost at least 100), then this machine is for you.
