It is too short for my needs. The stick needs to be at least 53 inches. I have never seen one of these or ordered one. A 5 Ft. tree planting stake worked well one time when another hiking stick was left in a cab as it didn't fit in the duffel bag. I'll mark any new one with name and address. It seems the weight might be a bit too light for my use and may be too light to be sturdy enough to really LEAN on. I use a walking stick for a third leg for quick speed, standing photo stability with up to a moderate telephoto lens. So it would get really leaned on. For anything bigger or longer exposure I break out "The 5 Ton" and set her up. The 5 Ton sets up anywhere. I have used "The 5 Ton" for stability when hiking.
