Based on my experience, this product just doesn't do the job. The silicone is too thin and easily shifts, therefore not providing adequate protection. Furthermore, the packaging is misleading, as it promotes the product as suitable for industrial and scientific settings, which is far from being true. On the bright side the product is reusable, but that's just not enough to make up for its shortcomings..
