This is a lifesaver when I am outdoors needing to sit and there is no seat. It’s portable and light enough that it’s no big deal. It holds my weight (160lb) easily. I adore that it is rainbow. The only downside is the last section always gets stuck so it is tricky to close. One day I was feeling especially frustrated by this and turned it a little too hard and popped the internal spring. I was pleased that I was able to put it back together easily, but it hasn’t closed all the way since. Now it’s a bit awkward to carry if I don’t have the little bag since it isn’t all the way closed, but still worth every penny for this outdoor person who can’t stand for long periods of time.
