Did the designers actually ever try using this thing? It's physically impossible to put this on your right shoulder without help. The velcro straps are not reversible, so you have to wrap it over from the front, under your left arm and around your back up to your right shoulder. Even if I wasn't recovering from rotator cuff surgery, this would be impossible on my own. And forget about wrapping the shorter strap around your bicep. You'd have to be double-jointed.I could flip the whole thing over so the straps are easier to use, but then the insulated side would be on my shoulder, which wouldn't do me much good.After I had someone help me get it on, I found the gel pack too stiff to hug the shoulder and upper arm at the same time. It sits very awkwardly.Due to the large size, I can see this being useful for icing the lower back or legs. But the main photo on the package, with the guy wearing it on his LEFT shoulder, mislead me into thinking this would work on my right shoulder. Now I have to go through the PITA of packing it up and returning it. With a sling on my right arm. What a disappointment.
