I ordered a medium and I typically wear a medium. Unless I wanted these to be painted on and show every line bump and bulge I would have had to go up at least 1 but probably 2 sizes. I have never understood the point of putting pockets in pants then undersizing them. The whole outline of the pocket shows.I loved the color but these hit odd at the waist (I'm 5'2" though so if you are taller they may hit your natural waist better). Length was perfect on me but will be short on someone average height or taller.Fabric was nice and not see though but SIZE UP unless you want everything on display.
