Just bought these for my daughter for the MA winter, and she loves them. She is 12 and deemed them both super stylish and comfortable. I am happy that they are higher up the leg than most snow boots because this way perhaps they will let in less snow when she is outside. I hope that they are truly waterproof.time will tell. I can update this review once we get some snow if anyone is interested. She did wear them around the house for about 5 minutes and said they were "very warm". For the price, I am happy with them as they appear well made and solid. I will note we did NOT find a "chemical odor" as another reviewer mentioned, and I happen to be sensitive to smells. They had a slight odor as do all new shoes but after a minute out of the box it dissipated and was not noticeable.
