I have all of my Celestial Seasonings teas in the 8 oz containers of this type, and I wanted to purchase 12 more, so I bought this item thinking it was a 12-count of the 8 oz tins, not a 6-count of the 12 oz tins. Still, once I received them, I immediately decided I could still use them for my other loose teas that don't fit in the smaller tins. These tins are perfect for larger amounts of tea. I have my loose tea and loose teabags (like Lipton that don't come in a paper wrapper) organized in these tins. They are the same height as the 8 oz tins so they look pretty and fit perfectly next to my other teas in the drawer. In my specific drawer, two tins stacked on top fit perfectly (obviously everyone's drawers are different sized so measure first!) I might never have bought these on purpose but they work so well I'm glad I made the mistake!
