If you've had passport covers in decades past you might have thought that anything designed for a US passport would be form fitting. This one is not. I'm guessing it's because this was designed around the standard size found around the world. Or maybe it's made to be turned into a passport sized traveler's journal with elastic bands if you wish.Overall it's a good passport cover. The CDC vaccination cards fit easily. Again, the pocket for the vaccine cards is oversized. I imagine if the edges of the cover ever get squished then the passport and vaccination cards will remain undamaged. Sorry to keep coming back to it, but I'm still use to covers that form fit the US passport. Yet, I'd probably buy this one again if needs arise.
