They're twenty-five bucks! Take that into consideration while reading this. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase because they'll work just fine for working-out in. Just NOT for sitting on the couch with eyes closed trying to enjoy high definition music.Have you ever walked by a walled-up construction site and looked through a small hole in the wall to see what's in there? That's what these headphones sound like. It's like listening to a 128 Kbps MP3 file. There's just SO much missing from the actual source material. You'll hear all of the instruments but they're just muddled and non-defining as though you're trying to listen to every audible frequency through a 1.6" cheap speaker (which you are).High-hats on drums sound like they're being covered with a thin sheet of silk. Midrange sounds as though I'm listening to a band in the next room with thin walls. If listening to a solo voice, it sounds decent because there's no other frequencies the drivers are trying to reproduce. Bass is just muddy with no definition.They get WAY below the stated 110Hz. I heard a sine wave start coming in at about 30Hz while plugged in via it's 1/8 inch headphone jack (I'm a 50 year old piano tuner). Stereo separation is the best thing I can find about these headphones. I could hear specific instruments in the location the performers intended them to be.Overall, they work great for a kid listening to cheap MP3 or streamed music over Bluetooth. Plug the audio jack in for the best possible sound.I'll use them every day, but not for listening to quality music.EDIT: I forgot to add that I purchased these mostly for the Micro SD card option. While listening to things on the memory card, there are no search capabilities or anything like that. You're going to listen to whatever track or folder is first on the card and then painstakingly hold the volume button to skip through all the tracks. That got old real quick so I just put a few workout songs on there and was done with it. It might be alright for long flights or whatever situation you have to turn off all radio signals (Bluetooth), but put your favorite songs or folders at the top of the list.
