I initially bought one of those harnesses where the cat's entire upper body goes into the harness. That may work on dogs or different cats than mine, but mine weren't having it, lol. They wouldn't let me get their paws in the holes and I tried for a long time with treats, gentle and slow acclimation, etc. They just weren't having the feeling of being trapped I guess. This harness is better because I can just clip it on them and they seem much less stressed out by it. I've taken my cats on multiple walks with this now and it's been fine. The only issue that ever arose was that one time, my boy cat had had a huge growth spurt and in readjusting the harness, I accidentally made the straps too loose so he was able to escape and make a break for it outside. Adjusting the harness has fixed that issue. Overall, good leash for cats!
