We got this for our child's bed. Even though the mattress we have is waterproof, it has a foam pad and you can't allow those soft foam toppers to get wet. We needed something to protect the pad from moisture. I looked into it and this seemed like it would fit the bill. I hit a home run on that one. It is perfect. It has survived a few overnight accidents to date and is very easy to wash. There have been no spill-throughs. There isn't a chance for moisture to get through, and the top is made of fabric. This means there isn't a sliding noise every time someone rolls over in the bed on top of one of these. It is almost certain to fit if you are using this on a twin that is under the 21" mark. I am very pleased with this product. I give it the highest marks, in that I would definitely spend my hard-earned money on this waterproof mattress pad. If you need one, you can't go wrong with this one. 5 stars.
