Sturdy, attractive, compact.
Very sturdy, good for crowded shelves as they take no linear space. Attractive design in the style of Mondrian. However, not esp cheap. If you want functional "invisible" bookends, you can get a stack of em cheaper. If you want prominent ones to make a statement, these aren't visible enough.

- The bookends may attract dust and dirt, making them hard to clean
