I wanted something durable with lots of capacity and that's exactly what this luggage set is. It has fallen out of the back of my SUV without a scratch. Spilled water on the outside and of course the polycarbonate keeps everything dry. I haven't weighted the luggage, but it is not heavy to me. One of the best features are the wheels. I love the 360 wheel rotation. The handle on the top, side, and of course the extended handle make it easy to carry. I've used the smallest piece for weekend travel and there was plenty of room for both my boyfriend and myself. The "bottom" includes a strap to lock your clothes in and the "top" half has a zippered closure that includes some pockets. I liked it so much I bought the smaller piece for my daughter and she loved it. I will say, when the package first arrived, there was a "plastic" smell. It was gone after one day and did not leave any odor on my clothes, I used it that weekend. I would definitely recommend this product.
