I bought this product larger than I wear because I had read other reviews stating they ran a bit small. Still, I wear a size 10 and had to order size 11-12 and even that is really snug which negates the whole purpose of them being nice and warm, not to mention that my toes all touch the end of the shoes. Uncomfortable. When a shoe is too tight, it cuts down on the circulation of blood and just makes it uncomfortable.As for the soles. they have a little bit of texturing on them but only around the outer 3/4 inches of the sole. the rest of the sole is slick and NOT good when it comes to walking on smooth surfaced floors.I do not recommend these. Better to go with something from your local store in town so you can try them on first to confirm their fit. which is what I will be doing for my next pair (which will be soon since these will not cut it for the cold climate where I live.)
