Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was expecting these coasters to hold up to their claims. However, I was disappointed as they failed to prevent any spills or damage to my tabletop.The "industrial and scientific" aspect seemed promising, but it just didn`t deliver. The only pro is the aesthetic design..
