The lens is nice, but there is an issue with the stabilizer that I would want to bring to your attention. Maybe it's just my lens. When the aperture (4) is wide open, the stabilizer performs as it ought to. If we set the aperture to any other setting, for instance 10, the photographs we capture with the stabilizer turned on would appear blurry. In most cases, turning image stabilization off results in more pleasing photographs. Following each shot, the image that appears in the viewfinder is rotated to the side, and the camera's stabilizer resets itself to the initial focus point within one second of the conclusion of the shooting sequence. If you push (and hold) the depth-of-field preview button before you take a shot (just how I close the aperture before I take a picture), then the problem is partially solved, and the pictures will be clear. However, it is highly likely that it will need to be sent in for maintenance. 03/29/2022 ADDITION In accordance with the terms of the warranty, SIVMA service fixed the lens. The microcircuit was flawed when it came out of the manufacturer. At this point, there are no problems. My previous rating of three stars has been upgraded to five stars.
