Super nice looking cardigan, and maybe I am old-school but I really love the big buttons and stand-up neck :). Everything I have ever wanted in one elegant-looking cardigan, for pleasure or work. So this thick but soft and breathable 100% Cotton is really comfortable to wear. It does look a little small at first but this size L does fit my regular size L. It's stretchable so it may take a few days to break in I supposed. I have attached some pictures for you to see but according to the measurement chart on the product page, I should be able to fit size XL as well. It all depends on you really, some people prefer a slim look while others prefer a little more room but either size is fine for me. Although, it does feel a little, just a tiny little shorter than my other size L. Maybe, it's due to the wide and higher up waistband on this cardigan making it looks short perhaps. The arm lengths are fine and so is the neck. Anyway, these are flexible and stretchable so not too worry there. Again, love the big round buttons, easy to button up or take them out. Overall, really love this style, very well made and professional sewn, does not shed as well. As far as washing, I would probably hand washing this just to be safe and line or air dry only as recommended. From my experience, they should not shrink when wash in cool or warm water, not too hot is ideal. Warm, and great to wear in Winter, Fall, early Spring, and maybe Summer indoor in the office when the AC is blasting out freezing air.
