I was looking for a pair of small, gold-toned, hoop earrings. These seemed to fill the bill. They are chunky, but small in diameter. Since they are gold plated, but not solid gold, they aren't expensive, so I don't have to worry about losing one, and I do have a tendency to lose earrings. (I save my solid gold ones for special occasions.) I usually wear white gold or sterling silver since that's more flattering to my hair and skin tone, but a friend bought a pair of yellow gold hoops, and I found those so attractive, I decided to try a pair myself. (I actually bought the yellow gold plated and the white gold plated. I couldn't resist my favorite white gold at this price.) I love both! They are exactly the size I wanted and very pretty. As a bonus, they are very lightweight since they are hollow. I am not bothered at all by heavy earrings, but I know many of you are. If you are, be assured, you won't even know you're wearing this pretty pair. They fasten securely and mine, at least, stay fastened. I've even slept in them and have no problems. These earrings can go to the office or out for date night. I'd even wear them with a pair of shorts when I picnic in the park. I'm so glad I got a pair of the yellow gold while they were in stock. I hope they come back for all those who choose yellow gold over white. I do think I'll probably be wearing my white gold plated ones more than the yellow, but I love both pair. Sometimes it's hard to decide which to wear. Try these. You can't go wrong. The style is a classic.
