Based on our own experience, this compass was a complete disappointment as a unique father birthday gift .Though its design seemed promising, the product's quality left a lot to be desired. The compass needle was unstable and kept getting stuck, making it virtually unusable for outdoor recreation. On the positive side, the product was delivered on time.
