GUT CHECK! Ok, so I had a panel that was delaminating and I contacted customer service and the whole unit was replaced quickly. I was pleasantly surprised. I destroyed the old one as requested by them and then installed the new one. Guess what, it doesn't fit the same. It is at least 1" too short! I called customer service and the person I was working with is no longer there so I get some one else. They tell me it is a redesign/improved design from the other one. I send pictures and videos and I am told it just needs to be adjusted properly. If I could stretch it an inch it would work fine but that is not possible. It leaks on the front end and the back end. The gap at the back allows anyone to get into my truck bed. I have now been left with a cover that doesn't do what it is supposed to and I cant seem to get any help getting it replaced again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NEW/IMPROVED DESIGN to anyone!I really like this top! I was so skeptical because because of the cable latching system. They just don't show or tell you how secure this part is. I read were you could use a coat hanger to circumvent the security of the top. I find that would be next to impossible based on my installation. The top is designed to have a drop edge at the tail gate which makes it much more secure. I am sure there are thieves out there who could get in it but I would guess they would be few. I love all of the features but one thing I would change would be to be able and open the section closest to the cab without having to start at the tail gate.
