The assembly was not difficult, there are three sections and the stand. It took me under an hour to get it completely set up. It had three nice connectors that electrically connected the three sections together. The cord was standard and seemed good quality. The stand is not real sturdy but we have tile so that was not too much of a problem. Might not be so great on carpet. We decorated with light weight plastic ornaments and when finished, the tree looked great. It has many options for the lights, the red lights are not really red though, more like a pink. In the morning we were surprised to find that some of the branches were drooping. I took some photos of where the branches were bending downward. When we arrived home in the afternoon, there we more branches drooping. The ornaments we used are medium lightweight plastic so that was not causing this. This product was pretty much ruined by the manufacturer who used cheap aluminum alloy for the branches. Too bad because it was a pretty tree otherwise. We sent it back for a refund.
