As a mom who has been using the Spectra S2 pump for 10 months now, I was curious to try out the Maymom Duckbill Valves. Initially, I was hesitant as these valves are not the original Spectra parts. However, to my surprise, these valves have proven to be a reliable accessory for my pumping needs. Firstly, the Maymom valves are compatible with various Spectra models, including S1, S2, 9 Plus, and Dew 350. The installation process is hassle-free, and I haven't faced any issues with them falling off during pumping sessions. The valves come in a pack of four, and the pack has lasted for months without any signs of wear or tear. Secondly, the duckbill design of the valves prevents any backflow, which was a significant issue I faced while using the original Spectra valves. These valves also create a tight seal and are quieter than the original parts. Moreover, they are easier to clean than the Spectra valves as they don't have multiple parts that need disassembling. I took away one star as I noticed a slight decrease in suction power while using the Maymom valves. However, this was not a significant issue for me as the suction was still strong enough to collect milk efficiently. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Maymom Duckbill Valves to moms looking for affordable and reliable accessories for their Spectra pumps. They are a great alternative to the original Spectra parts and have made my pumping sessions comfortable and stress-free.
