Love these so much. They stay in place through dance fitness classes and HIIT. I personally prefer the elastic band at the top of the waistband so the shorts stay in place and don't slide or flip down---these stay up perfectly and don't feel like they're cutting into my mid section! The legs are fitted but don't excessively cut into the thighs (I got the 7inch length). Soft, comfy, and do what I need them to. I ordered my usual leggings size (1 size up from typical bottoms) and they're just what I was expecting, for reference I'm 175 lbs, 5'4" and ordered a XL.
