I had a beautiful pink glass nail file from Sephora. It has served me well for years until I accidentally dropped it from its thin plastic half sleeve and it broke. After finding out it is no longer available I tried to use paper and metal files and found they either don’t work well enough or sort of grind/drag across nail which made me worry about damaging my nails. This one is a very good sub. It is not as thin or delicate as my former one so it’s a bit cumbersome to get around nail edges and corners for my shortish nails. But for regular filing the tips, shaping and smoothing it works great. And bonus comes with a closed case which I really appreciate for safekeeping.
