I got these for my daughter for an upcoming hiking trip. She's 5 and I didn't want to blow a bunch of money on boots she'd outgrow by next season. We just did a little practice run this weekend and hiked over pretty rough (for flat Indiana) terrain for about 3 miles. She made the whole hike and said she liked her boots. She is unfortunately somewhat nonverbal due to a medical issue so I took them off after the hike and inspected her feet and didn't see any blisters or red spots. She has probably a little more than my (dads) thumb width of room in the front, but so long as they aren't rubbing her; that's great, room to grow! If we have any problems during our trip, I'll update.
