I assumed this mode of operation: there is a radar in the base, you catch radiation from it, if there is, then you warn, if there is no radiation, then you are silent. That would be a smart device. Some pros: Good clear voice alert, constantly warns if you go beyond the permissible maximum speed exceeding (which is configurable) Its cons: The most important thing is that the alert does not always work or the voice screams slow down, because there is a mark in the database that there is a radar, but the radar does not work or it does not exist at all. It infuriates the constant warning "slow down" on radars like: lane control, platon. This is crazy. But there was a case when I was driving and knew for sure that there was a radar and it was working, but the device did not react to it in any way (there were no sound warnings), but the indicator showed that there was a radar and it was working. Bought in 2022, the supra IGT68 radar is a cut above that. I myself can prepare and upload a list of radars, the correct one that I need. And when you go, it always signals that the radar is working. In this model, it is generally not clear whether the radar works or not. The system warns that there is a radar, but it is not clear whether it works.
