I've tried so many pill splitters, and every one of them either crushed the pills or split them unevenly. I was ready to give up when I decided to try this one. And I'm glad I did! It doesn't crush small pills, and it splits the pills evenly. The trick to getting an even cut is this (it didn't work with the other pill splitters but it works with this one): 1. Place the pill firmly against the guard with the writing on the pill facing down. 2. Slowly lower the top of the pill splitter till it touches the pill. 3. Give a quick chop downward on the top of the pill splitter. It works every time.
