I purchased this case for my new MacBook Pro. Now I have a case, but no laptop as they are still back ordered. This is a quality product. I purchased the grey case and the fabric on the outside is really nice. The grey color is very rich looking and compliments both the silver and dark gray MacBooks. The inside fabric appears to be a plush microfiber and will do a great job in keeping scratches off your laptop. The outside pocket is large and has several elastic bands to organize pens, cables and other stuff. They used good quality zippers on both the case and pocket and they open and close smoothly and without binding. I really like how they constructed the main case with a raised and padded lip. This means that the zipper, when closed is backed by the padding to further protect your laptop from damage. Everything is stitched well and there were no loose threads. The padding is nice and firm and should be able to take a few bumps without damaging your laptop. I can't say how well this will hold up over time, since I haven't used it yet. However, given the excellent quality construction and materials, I expect it to outlast my laptop.
