Let me start by saying that my skin is not particularly sensitive. I don't normally get irritated by costume jewelry, I never get reactions, etc. I try to stick with surgical/stainless steel, and I was under the impression that this product was of a higher grade metal.I purchased this because it's super cute, and it remained so for a couple weeks! After that I started noticing my piercing get super irritated, when I had never had issues with other jewelry. Over time the rose gold plated started to come off, and the metal itself became very. scratchy? The photos in my review are with it cleaned, there is no bio-material or anything present. I have switched out to some standard silver surgical steel jewelry, and it's an INSTANT difference in comfort.I'd maybe recommend this for someone who changes their jewelry frequently, or may only want a statement piece for special occasions. If you're a constant wearer like me, stay away.
