I was a bit skeptical of these lights due to the cost and the quantity of lights. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.Out of the box, the fixture and the ground spike come separate. You actually have to take off the adjustable frame to install the spike. Not a big deal as it only takes about 45 seconds per light. The lights come with what I will describe as a crimping-type of connector that would make you cut the landscape wire, connect the wires to the light via the connectors, and then wrap the connectors in electrical tape. My advise, buy Low Voltage Fastlock Landscape Lighting Wire Connectors from ebay and save time and headache. These bad boys go on in about 90 seconds. Depending on what you are trying to illuminate, you can space these about 10 feet apart for continuous light. They are fairly bright and the intensity can be adjusted on the remote. Why there are four remotes is beyond me, but two can be operated within 3 yards and have to face the front of the light, the other two remotes have to be within 5 yards. The only negative is that you have to manually time the fading of the lights, if not the lights will swim through colors but the timing will be off.Again, these are the best lights for the money and highly recommended. I am now buying my second set.
