The mat I received had several creases in the firm plastic and was not usable out of the box. The manufacture supplied a "WePet Ways to Remove Creases" solution card. Thus, the creases are problematic yet, this is not noted in the ad description. Per the WePet card, you would have to either "Immerse the mat in hot water as in filling the tub with water or Solution 2., which has two steps: 1. use a hair dryer to heat the mat and 2. Place 60lbs on the mat for around a week.” Furthermore, the mat retains a smell from any accidents your animals may have on the mat. Based upon the aforementioned, I don’t recommend this product. There are other mats that work much better…….shop around!
