This is an early 2000 Louis Vuitton "camera bag”, it lacks lining to protect gears. This insert is perfect in size to fit, so now this LV bag is a proper camera bag. One thing you should consider before buying this insert is it doesn’t have a lid so it doesn’t work well by itself, but I prefer it without the lid for this setting. The insert is not very thick so I don’t recommend for luggage that may take some beating in travel. The camera I sampled is a Sony A7C with Lensbaby 56mm lens. Bigger camera should work too, since there is room to spare inside. It comes with one divider and I placed it at the bottom as additional cushion. Over the years, LV has multiple camera bags, all about the same size, so this insert should fit others as well. This is a civilized insert with light protection, good for gentle use but probably not for rough and heavy duty. The only thing I wish more is a red color version to go with Leica.
