I must confess that I've never owned a pair of hair cutting scissors, always having left that task to the professionals. Alas, the pandemic has put an end to that for the time being and after 10 months with no haircut, I decided it was time to make an attempt at taking matters into my own hands. I'll admit I've yet to attempt to do much but test using them so I could do a review, but they met my expectations. They're very easy to hold - and I can see why professional hairdressers use this type of scissor with a finger rest, as I would think it would lessen hand strain and make it far more comfortable to use scissors over the course of a work day.As mentioned before, I've never owned or used a pair of professional hairdressing scissors, but I HAVE cut my younger sister's hair (LOL) and that of our dolls many years ago and I can't help but think these scissors would have resulted in a better outcome. Being serious, I can say the hair cut cleanly and easily and they seem to be of a nice quality. I appreciated that they came in a case, which is appreciated since they're very sharp - and it will keep them from being used accidentally for other purposes.
