Bought this to use for watching a November football playoff game in Michigan. High winds, gusting to 50 mph, heavy rain intervals and cold. It kept me dry. The snaps on the arms held against a stiff wind, no tearing. Was able to fit this over my hoody-carhart coat combo and have enough poncho left to cover my daughter's legs who was only in a waist rain coat.Arrived and it did not have any of the strong chemical aroma's I have noticed in other economy poncho's. For the money, this is the best poncho I have purchased.
